YOUR QUALIFICATION IS JESUS
“The law of Moses was unable to save us because of the weakness of our sinful nature. So, God did what the law could not do. He sent his own Son in a body just like we sinners have. And in that body God declared an end to sin’s control over us by giving his Son as a sacrifice for our sins. He did this so that the just requirement of the law would be fully satisfied for us, who no longer follow our sinful nature but instead follow the Spirit.” Romans 8:3-4 NLT
Beloved, as long as you keep looking at yourself to ensure that everything is right with you, you will never qualify to receive from God. Do you know that condemnation is the root of failure, frustration, disappointment, sickness and weakness? When you should really rise up as a child of God and lay claim to what belongs to you, the devil jumps on your shoulder and reminds you of the sins you committed before you left home. He makes you feel unqualified to ask anything from God. No matter what the preacher speaks over your life, you can’t receive because you feel condemned and unqualified. The assignment of the devil is to accuse the believer such that all you see is failure and weakness.
After confessing their sins, you will sometimes hear believers say: Lord, both the ones I remembered and the ones I didn’t remember. This is because such persons are still under condemnation. Thus the enemy whispers: “How do you think that a Holy God will just gloss over your sins like that?” At such moments, your hands that were lifted in worship will begin to drop.
Today, God has sent me to remind you that Jesus paid a complete price. The devil is a liar. You are not a sinner but the child of a King! As long as you allow the devil to accuse you, to check whether there is anything wrong with you and determine if you are qualified to stand before God, you won’t receive from Him. The good news is that Jesus has qualified you.
