YOUR FAITH WILL NOT FAIL
“And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.” Luke 22:31-32 (KJV)
The Lord, Jesus Christ called the most outspoken disciple; Simon, and told him that Satan has desired to have him, but He has prayed for him. Just like players on a football field will not go after someone who does not have the ball, the devil will not go after a person who is not a threat to his kingdom.
The devil will deploy all his arsenals against you to stop you because he knows you are dynamite. But beloved, refuse to be moved by his arsenals because Jesus has prayed for you, and you are secured in Him. Your victory is assured. Yes, storms may rage, and billows may toss high, but the Lord is your Keeper, He is your Shade. He will not allow the sun to smite you by day nor the moon by night. Hold on to the word of God. It never fails. See the tests as passing through and you will surely pass through. The bigger the challenge, the bigger and more glorious your testimony will be. God is with you, don’t give up, and don’t quit. Don’t even think of it
Look at the story of the children of Israel. They left Egypt at God’s command, yet the enemies pursued them, and the situation looked hopeless but hear God, and the same word is coming to you today: “… Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew you today: for the Egyptians which ye have seen today, ye shall see them again no more for ever…” (Ex. 14:13)
No matter what is confronting you today, the word of God has gone ahead, and it will come to pass. Prayer has gone ahead concerning your life. His prayer will penetrate the realms of the enemy. Therefore, your faith will not fail. Whatever the devil has planned against your life is destroyed In Jesus’ name.
