YOU WILL RECOVER ALL

YOU WILL RECOVER ALL

“And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, sons nor daughters, neither spoil nor anything that they had taken to them: David recovered all.” 1 Samuel 30:19 KJV

Beloved, in the real sense of it, what you seem to have lost is not lost. The enemy that has apparently stolen from you is very much afraid of you and is only “keeping” the things he stole, waiting for when you would come back for them. Maybe you are asking: “But Brother Mike, how do you know?”

Now let us look at verse 2 of 1 Samuel chapter 30. “And had taken the women captives that were therein: they slew not any, either great or small, but carried them away, and went on their way.” Did you see that? The Bible was careful to record that the enemies did not kill any of the captives, but carried them away. In fact, the word “recover” suggests that that which was stolen is still there, waiting for the owner to take the necessary steps to recover it.

David only received instruction from God when he functioned in the authority of his identity. In verse 7 of that same chapter; he requested for the Ephod from Abiathar the priest. Do you know what the Ephod is? It is the priestly garment! It means that David functioned in his office as a priest. Child of God, do you know who you are? The Bible says that you are a king and a priest unto God. You are called to reign upon this earth (Rev. 5:10).

You won’t recover if you are still crying and weeping. You must choose to function in your priestly capacity! Encourage yourself and refuse to join the company of those who become overwhelmed with issues, that they forget who they are in Christ. I challenge you to zero in on your new creation reality and take back all that the devil has stolen from you. I declare that you will not be denied because God’s Word cannot fail. I will hear your testimony!
