YOU WILL NOT SEE SHAME
“To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory” Colossians 1:27 (KJV)
Beloved, God chose you in Christ before the foundation of the world. Now the question is: How can you be in Christ and you cannot walk in glory? Christ in you is the joyful confident expectation of glory. Christ cannot be in you for you to see shame. Christ cannot be in you for you to see disgrace. Don’t let the devil lie to you. Don’t let the circumstances around you lie to you that God has abandoned you. The Bible says in the book of Philippians 1:6 “Being confident of this one thing that he who has begun a good work in you will perfect it in the day of the Lord”. The work has been started and you are a work in progress. So, don’t look at where you are today. God will surely show up for you.
Walking in glory does not mean you will not encounter challenges. One thing you must understand is that sometimes when you encounter challenges or a difficult situation, that is the time to believe what God has spoken concerning you. It is better and more advantageous for you to believe the scriptures other than your circumstances. There is a bounce-back mechanism built into the believer. There is nothing like a fatal failure for you. The book of Proverbs 24:16 says: “For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: …” No matter how the righteous fall, he is always rising back.
The book of Isaiah 35:10 declares: “and the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.” No matter how far they have gone neck-deep into trouble, the righteous will always return.
You will be celebrated! You will come out of obscurity! You are coming to the frontline! God has started it! He knows what He is doing! He will give you an expected end.
