YOU WILL NOT BE STOPPED
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11 (KJV)
Beloved, develop the confidence that you will not be abandoned because of the finished work of Jesus Christ. Develop confidence in the perfect sacrifice of Christ. Develop confidence in the Word of Grace. It has no margin for error. In Christ, you are guaranteed a blessing. You will not walk under any curse. You will not fall by the way. God started it and He will complete it. You will arrive at your God-ordained destiny.
Let’s look at the Message translation for our scripture for today. “I know what I’m doing. I have it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for.” Jeremiah 29:11 (MSG).
God has no plan to abandon you. Rather, He plans to give you the future you hope for. What is the future you are expecting? It will certainly come to pass! Remember the story of Laban and Jacob. Laban thought he could cheat Jacob and truncate his destiny. But Jacob was a covenant man. It is a dangerous thing to trifle with a covenant person.
Child of God, always remember that you are a covenant person. There is a covenant that is speaking over your life. See what God says about His covenant: “But I will never stop loving him nor fail to keep my promise to him. No, I will not break my covenant; I will not take back a single word I said.” Psalms 89:33-34 (NLT).
No one and no power can deprive you of what belongs to you. Covenant will speak for you. Whoever is working behind the scenes and trying to stop you will fail. God is at work in your life. No one can reverse or hinder what He is doing. “Indeed before the day was, I am He;…I work, and who will reverse it?” Isaiah 43:13 (NKJV).
So, rejoice and be glad for God will certainly perfect everything that concerns you. What He has done can never be undone! God’s colourful agenda for your life will manifest.
