YOU WILL NO LONGER BE STRANDED

YOU WILL NO LONGER BE STRANDED

“Jesus sat down and taught the people from the boat. When he had finished, he said to Peter, now row out to deep water to cast your nets and you will have a great catch.” Luke 5:4 (TPT)

Peter was going bankrupt and he was washing his net. As far as he was concerned that was the end of his profession. But Jesus showed up and stepped into Peter’s boat. And He told Peter to thrust in a little bit so that I can have clearer access to preach. Peter was not a believer but an ordinary fisherman. Whether he understood or not he gave his boat. Peter was not a novice but a highly skilled man as far as that profession is concerned. Yet he toiled all night with his efforts, with his skill, with the right tools and partners, and the right time but he caught nothing.

Peter started hearing that there is a better side of life. He heard that life is not about hopelessness, failure, disappointment, and death. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. When Jesus finished preaching, he said to Peter, cast your net into the deep. There is a depth that you don’t understand, it can only happen supernaturally. By the time it is the day, the water was very clear, and fishes could see the net, so how do they go in there? Only by the supernatural operations of God.

Jesus told Peter; cast all your nets, I am here.  Peter limited himself, not because God wanted him limited. So, we must learn from Peter’s experience. Don’t let your mind begin to question how.  Peter said nevertheless at thy word, he threw in one net and the net brake. The net broke because the fish are not meant for one net. They are meant for many. Bring out all your nets. Bring out all those things you said cannot work. Open up your storehouse it is about to be filled to the brim. You will no longer be stranded. You will no longer be frustrated.
