YOU WILL NEVER BE ABANDONED

YOU WILL NEVER BE ABANDONED

“O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires.” Isaiah 54:11 KJV

One thing that you should always know about God is that He never changes. Our circumstance can never change God. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. The book of Revelation 1:8 describes Him as, “… the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending.” The God’s word version of our text today says: “You suffering, comfortless, stormed ravaged city! I will rebuild your city with precious stones. I will reset your foundations with sapphires.”

Are you suffering? Are you comfortless? Are you being ravaged by storms? The Lord says He will rebuild your city with precious stones. He will reset your foundations with sapphires. He will rebuild your towers with rubies, your gates with sparkling stones, all your walls with precious stones and all your children will be taught by the Lord and your children will have unlimited peace.

So, for those of you who are wondering how your children would turn out; If you have raised them in the church, don’t bother. They are going to turn out well. Your children have a colourful future and they will not end up a disappointment. Our children will not end up as failures. They will take their place in society. God has a place for them, and the devil will never take their place. No power will cut them short. Our children will be celebrated, and they will be elevated. The glory of God shall be seen in their lives. They are the seed of the righteous and shall be mighty upon the earth. They shall eat of the riches of the Gentiles. It shall be said of the seed of righteous that the Lord is with him and you shall be established in righteousness. You shall be far from oppression.

So, you will not be afraid. You shall not be comfortless, and you shall be far from destruction.
This is your inheritance. Your victory comes from Him. That means it does not depend on anyone. It doesn’t even depend on whether people love you or not. All that matters is that God loves you.
