YOU WILL EAT THE GOOD OF THE LAND
I come to you today with a clear mandate from God – you will eat the good of the land. This land will produce for you. Beloved, you have entered into your season of greater glory and there is nothing the devil can do about it. God is bringing you into a land where you will eat bread without scarceness. In other words, ever before a need arises in your life, the supply would have come. I declare that no good thing will pass you by. You will take delivery of your miracle. Your lips will testify. You will not be denied in Jesus name.
“For the Lord thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills; a land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey; a land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass.” – DEUTERONOMY 8:7 – 9 (KJV)
However, in my walk with God, I have come to discover that one of the ways believers miss out on their blessing is when they decide to disobey God. The word of God is clear – Isaiah 1:19 says ‘’if ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land.’’ That is the key and there are no two ways about it. Beloved, you cannot obey God at your own convenience. There is nothing like partial obedience; you are either obeying God or you are living in disobedience. Remember you were created for God’s own pleasure and He expects that you would live your life at all times in total obedience to Him. Living a life of obedience includes obeying His word, and of course instructions from His servants. The scriptures abound with examples of people who truly obeyed God even when it was not convenient to do so. Every one of them stood tall for God, in-spite of their challenges and today we celebrate their exploits.
Beloved, as you obey God, you are able to subdue situations no matter how complex they are. Situations and circumstances just bow to you and even devils have no choice than to obey your commands. Let us look at the scripture in 2 Corinthians 10:4-6 and draw some inferences from it. It says “for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds, casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God and bringing to captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.” Did you see that? Pulling down strongholds is just an aspect, while casting down thoughts and imaginations is another. When we pray, strongholds are pulled down and they stay down, but that is not all. Look closely at verse 6. It says, having in readiness to avenge all disobedience when your own obedience is complete.’’
Beloved you cannot enforce a law you do not submit to. If you must enforce the authority of Jesus in any area of your life, you must submit yourself to His authority. You must take your time to learn of Him and follow Him every step of the way. Like I always say, “obedience is the key to divine destiny”. I like the way Job 36:11 summarizes it. It says if you obey and serve Him, you shall spend your days in prosperity and your years in pleasures. Beloved the choice is yours, but I encourage you to stay on the path of obedience and eat the good of the land. Review every area of your life, your tithing, praying, commitment to church activities, relationships at home, in the office and in the church and if you can spot disobedience in any area, deal with it immediately. Purge yourself of it and stand in faith that God will help you do that which you have committed yourself to. As you do, you will partake of all that the Lord has promised you.
I urge you to go into this week, fully convinced that God will perfect all that concerns you. As you obey Him, His word and His servants, be assured that He will throw His weight around on your behalf. Beloved, what God would do in your life this season would blow your mind and cause you to leap for joy. I bless you in Jesus name.
