YOU HAVE IT IN YOU

“And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him, and said unto him, The LORD is with thee, thou mighty man of valour.” Judges 6:12 (KJV)

You have something in you. You have a treasure in you. You have it right there inside you. It doesn’t matter what your family background is, there is a treasure within you. It has nothing to do with where you are now, you are a carrier of treasure. It doesn’t matter how you look now or what people have called you, there is something in you that God has put there that sets you apart among equals. You have it already!

Christ in you, the joyful confidence expectation of glory. Christ in you, the hope of glory. For in Him we live, we move and have our being. We are complete in Him who is the Head of all principalities and powers. You have something! You must always put your hands on your chest and say confidently “I am born for glory.”

Often, we allow the circumstances of our lives to so garage us and muzzle us to the point that we do nothing.  Gideon the mighty man of valour had potential. But he was not conscious of it until God told him. Prior to his encounter with God, he was hiding. The Midianites harassed Gideon and his people. They took their harvests and frustrated them. They could not fight back because they were not conscious of what they carried. That was not God’s plan for them. These were covenant people, yet everything was working against them. It seemed as if they were under a curse. The Midianites harassed them day and night until they became a terror to them. But when Gideon discovered that he was a mighty man and that God was with him, the story changed.

I don’t know what is terrorizing your life and I don’t know what the enemy has deployed in the direction that is frustrating you, it comes to an end now.  God has not called you to be frustrated. You have a portion in the land!
