YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE

YOU HAVE ETERNAL LIFE

“And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” 1 John‬

In Christ, the believer has been made righteous. What does that mean? Righteousness means right standing before God as if sin does not exist. It means standing before God without fear, inferiority, condemnation, or accusation. It means standing before God, knowing that you have unlimited and unconditional access to God. You believe with your heart unto righteousness and with your mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Furthermore, in John 3:16, the bible says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” As a believer, you already have eternal life in you. The book of John 5:24 states: “Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that heareth my word and believe on him that sent me hath everlasting life and shall not come into condemnation but he is passed from death to life”.

Eternal life is God’s kind of life – Zoe. This kind of life does not die! You received Eternal life on the day you gave your life to Christ.

According to the book of Ephesians 2:1: “And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins;” (Ephesians‬
