YOU HAVE BEEN MADE RIGHTEOUS

YOU HAVE BEEN MADE RIGHTEOUS

“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.”  2Corinthians 5:21 (NKJV)

The book of Psalm 24:3-5 declares: “Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? Or who shall stand in his holy place? He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; Who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, And righteousness from the God of his salvation.”

The hill of the Lord is not a place for everyone. It is a place where only the righteous can access. Righteousness means standing before God without any sense of inferiority, condemnation, accusation, guilt, or judgement.  In our experience of the new birth, God gave us right standing with Him.  It is not what you can earn. It is not what you can achieve. It is not what you can merit.

There is nothing you can do that can earn you right standing before God.  It is a gift that God gave to us when we received Christ as Lord and Saviour.

You must not allow anything to rattle that standing. Because your standing before God will determine how you will stand before your challenges. Your standing will determine how you stand before the opposition. Your standing with God will determine how you stand before obstacles, impediments, and hindrances.

A lot of people are falling like a pack of cards because they don’t understand how they stand before God.  Jesus did not know sin.  He did no sin.  No sin was found in Him but He was made to be sin that we might be made the righteousness of God.  We are made to stand right before God at all times.
