YOU HAVE A RICH INHERITANCE

YOU HAVE A RICH INHERITANCE

“In whom also we have obtained an inheritance…”. Ephesians 1:11 (KJV)

You have a rich inheritance in Christ Jesus. Go for it. That is what the book of Ephesians teaches us. When you read the book of Ephesians, it starts by telling you about your wealthy inheritance. “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ” (Ephesians 1:3). The book of Colossians 1:12 tells us that we have been made partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light. In verse 13 of the same book of Colossians, we discover that we have been delivered from the power of darkness and have been translated into the Kingdom of His dear Son.

“For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.” 1 John 5:4. This is your inheritance. Go after the spoils! They belong to you. 1 John 4:4 declares that you have overcome them because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. You can do all things through Christ that strengthens you (Philippians 4:13). And God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:13). These are your inheritance in Christ. He who has begun a good work in you will complete it in the day of the Lord (Philippians 1:6) Hallelujah! We have not been given the spirit of fear but of power and love and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). That is your inheritance. “In Him, we have redemption through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins” (Colossians 1:14). That is your inheritance.

So, stop being afraid! Go for it! Go for all that has been made available to you in Christ. That is what Jesus Christ paid for with His blood. That is what He suffered for and that is what He rose for.
