YOU CANNOT BE ORDINARY

YOU CANNOT BE ORDINARY

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV

We are of the new creation and it is abnormal for the new creation to live his life in a hopeless manner. We are prisoners of hope, not prisoners of hopelessness. Job declares: “If a man die, shall he live again? All the days of my appointed time will I wait, till my change come” (Job 14:14 KJV). Sometimes, you cannot understand what is coming against you, but your change will manifest because “Christ in you is the hope of Glory.” Keep trusting Him, He will come through for you.

But then, the issue is: where are you rooted? Some of you go to the place where God has planted you, and you see intimidating circumstances.  Then you say, “Brother Mike, I don’t think this will work.” Right away, you arm the devil against you. All things are possible to him that believes.

If you are in business, the thing you say cannot work, somebody else is doing it. Someone is smiling to the bank, and you said it can’t work for you. We live in a time where people are not ready to stretch themselves. Stretch yourself!  Make a demand on your life! And ensure that you are on fire all the time. Never come to a time when you are satisfied with where you are. As long as you are still breathing, you must be striving.

Do you think that God allowed you to be breathing for nothing? It’s because He still has much to do with you. So don’t get to the point where you “go to bed” while you are still breathing. Otherwise, ask God to call you home. What is the use of harassing every other person with your problem, and refusing to do something with your life? There is so much in you; don’t die a potential; be all that God has ordained you to be. You are a new creation and God has invested so much in your life. You can’t be ordinary.
