YOU CAN NOT DEAL WITH SIN ON YOUR OWN

YOU CAN NOT DEAL WITH SIN ON YOUR OWN

“For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:”

(Romans 8:3 KJV)

The law was not meant to be kept. No one can keep it! It was meant to bring man to the end of himself, so we can all look up to Jesus. And it did that job very well because anytime you look at the Ten Commandments you will see that you are still failing.

In the book of Matthew 19:16-26, a rich man came to Jesus and said what will I do to inherit the kingdom of God? Jesus said since you are demanding for law I will give it to you. He started by giving him some “thou shall not do this and that”. The man was very pleased with himself, not knowing he was dealing with the Living Word and Grace Himself. Jesus said to him though you have kept the Ten Commandments there is one thing still lacking. Beloved, when you have kept the law, there is always one thing lacking. By the deeds of the law shall no flesh be justified! Hebrews 7:19 says the law makes nothing perfect. The law was given to increase sin, to tell you the awfulness of sin and that there is no way you can navigate yourself out of it.

You must understand that sin is powerful and it can only take God to bring you out. The other day the Archangel Lucifer, was worshipping in God’s presence and iniquity was found in him. How was it possible for iniquity to have navigated through the myriad of angels into the presence of God? If iniquity could enter the Holy of Holies, how dare you, a mortal man think that you can deal with sin, if God does not help you? And because we cannot deal with sin, God sent Jesus from heaven to deal with it for us. If you are still trying to battle with sin, it is because you still do not understand what Jesus did. Jesus came and did a total damage to Satan and sin. He completely blew him apart so that you can receive righteousness and no longer run away from God.
