YOU ARE UNDER A NEW COVENANT

YOU ARE UNDER A NEW COVENANT

“For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.” (Hebrews 8:12 KJV)

As a new covenant believer, your part is first to accept that you are righteous. Until you accept that you are righteous, you will discover that every attempt to live for God will end in disappointment. So you see that what Christ did for us is awesome. And that is why I love Him. This Jesus who knows me through and through and knows what I am capable of doing, yet He still says He loves me. Why will I not love Him?

In the past I have always believed that the Holy Ghost will leave me because I sinned. But I found out that the Holy Ghost does not leave me. If He leaves me, who will bring me out. He is the one that will bring me out. How then can I come out if He leaves me? Many believers don’t understand the covenant, which they have with God. Beloved, you are in a new covenant where God does not see you as a sinner, a covenant where God does not see your weakness. He said I have not beheld iniquity in Jacob. He said I don’t see it. He didn’t say they didn’t commit sin, He said I didn’t see it. So stop being sin conscious. He said He will no more remember your sin. Why are you reminding Him?

Many church folks are seeing God as a taskmaster that is always with a sledge hammer, waiting to see your mistake and then strike at you. You are misrepresenting God! He is too loving, to start looking for your sins. He is not looking for your sins rather, He has provided a cure for sin. That is what the gospel is. The gospel tells you the cure for sin. The law was given by Moses, but truth and grace came by Jesus. The law is not for the church. Grace is for the church. Praise God!
