YOU ARE STANDING ON FAVORED GROUND

YOU ARE STANDING ON FAVORED GROUND

“By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” Romans 5:2 (KJV)

When Adam fell, he was struggling to make himself clean. God had to do it for him. God slaughtered an animal, brought out the skin, and covered him. And not only did He do that, but He also drove him out of the garden. Adam was not driven out of the garden out of spite or out of punishment. He was driven out so that he will not remain in a fallen state forever. It was done out of love.

All through the scriptures, God began to work the process of the redemption of man, and it finally culminated in the birth of Jesus Christ. When you come to Jesus, He gives out good because that is all that He has to offer. The sick are healed, the oppressed are delivered, those under bondage are set free and the sinner is saved. He said I lay down my life, no one takes it from me. I lay it down by myself, and when I lay it down, I pick it up myself.

And Jesus Christ went to the cross and declared on that day with a note of finality that: “It is finished” In other words, He said: I have paid the price. I have redeemed and repositioned man. The plans I have for man are now re-established. Paul captures it in the book of Romans 4:25: “Who was delivered for our offences and was raised again for our justification”. (KJV).

He was delivered for our offences, not for His offences. He did not commit any sin. He knew no sin, but He became sin. He became your sin because He is committed to you. Jesus became anything so that you can become who He is. By His sacrifice, we are positioned to stand forever on a grace ground. So anywhere you go, know you are standing on the favoured ground. Even when, things are not working, because you are standing on the favoured ground, things have to work for you. He has placed you on grace ground.
