YOU ARE STANDING ON FAVORED GROUND
“Because of our faith, Christ has brought us into this place of undeserved privilege where we now stand, and we confidently and joyfully look forward to sharing God’s glory.” Romans 5:2 (NLT)
In Christ, you have been raised! You are not beneath any longer! We are seated together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. We are now heirs of all that God has. That is a favored ground. And that is where we stand in Christ. Favored ground! You see, everything in life is not hard work! It is not expertise and it is not credentials. I am not trying to endorse laziness or people not studying and improving their minds. By no means! However, as a child of God, we have an added advantage which is favor.
When you begin to walk in favor, you will enjoy divine assistance. There is nothing the enemy brings against you that can defeat you because where you are standing is a favored ground. On this ground, God will do things that you cannot do. Remember that, it was the Hand of God that pushed down the walls of Jericho! Angels parted the sea. They removed their hands and the sea covered Pharaoh and his chariots and men of war.
Favor is a divine defense. The book of Psalms 41:11 declares: “By this I know that thou favourest me, Because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.” Whatever the enemy is planning against you will not stand. The favor of God will defend and preserve you from all evil. Their plans will not stand! It will not work! Beloved, you must walk in the understanding that favor is on your side. God is on your side. This favor has been given to you and it can never be withdrawn. “For God’s gifts and his call can never be withdrawn.” (Romans 11:29 NLT).
Favor is upon your life. Favor will speak for you everywhere you go. Favor will open doors for you. Favor will fight battles for you. Favor will silence the voice of the enemy. Some of us think that we are the ones holding God. No! He is the One holding you. And He will not relax His hold upon you.
