YOU ARE ORDAINED FOR GLORY

YOU ARE ORDAINED FOR GLORY

“Moreover whom He did predestinate, them He also called: and whom He called, them He
also justified: and whom He justified, them He also glorified.” Romans 8:30 (KJV)

Our text today, one of my favourite scriptures in the bible, says He called us to glorify us.
Your end is not shame; it is not a disgrace, it is not a disappointment, and it is not failure.
Your end is glory. That is God’s plan, purpose and design for your life. Ephesians 1:4 says,
“According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be
holy and without blame before him in love.” He chose us in Christ before the foundations of
the world. He chose you because He has a plan for your life.

Jeremiah 1:5 says: “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee, and before thou camest
forth out of the womb I sanctified thee and ordained thee a prophet to the nations.” In other
words, the destiny that God had already proposed for you is prearranged. It was packaged and
predetermined ever before you came on the scene. You didn’t plan for it. He planned it,
designed it, packaged it, purposed it, and then gave it to you. That is why you should rest and
enjoy the ride. Stop struggling. Let God, who started it, perfect it.

2 Timothy 1:9 says: “Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to
our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus
before the world began.” So you see that all these things have been arranged. Your
destination has been pre-arranged. No wonder Paul said in Ephesians 2:10 that we are His
workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works which God has before ordained that
we should walk in it. They were arranged even before you were born.
So rest in Him! He who has begun this good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus
Christ {Philippians 1:6}. You are a good work in progress and what He has started, He will
complete.
