YOU ARE ON GOD’S MIND

YOU ARE ON GOD’S MIND

“But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.” (Psalms 40:17 KJV)

God is your Father. He is committed to keeping you, protecting you, meeting your every need, and securing your future. God will never forget you. It is vitally important that you don’t only see Him as God, but see Him as your Father, a loving Father who cares deeply about you.

The disciple John outlined this intimacy for us by personalizing His relationship with the Lord, which is why he refers to himself throughout the book of John as the disciple whom Jesus loves. God loves you very deeply and you are always on His mind. Isaiah 49:15 (KJV) tells us, “Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they MAY forget, yet will I not forget thee.”

Beloved, I want you to understand that no matter how tough the situation MAY seem, God has not forgotten you, and He will never forget you. To establish that He remembers you always, Isaiah 49:16 (KJV) says, “Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.” Your file is ever open before the Father, because He cares about every single area of your life.

Still talking about Father, the gospel of John revealed Jesus as the Son of God to us. And all through the synoptic gospels, Jesus referred to God as Father. What is that telling us? Jesus was telling us to take our relationship with God beyond the surface. He was saying get personal and intimate with God, because He is your Daddy. And if He is our Daddy, then we cannot be far away.

Get close to your father. Stay with Him and understand how He works. Understand what He is doing and saying in the now. You can’t know if you are far away. So, stay connected to your Father. Call upon Him and He will answer and show you great and mighty things. You are always on His mind.
