YOU ARE NOT ORDINARY
“And God said, let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.” (Genesis 1:26 KJV)
God decided to come in human flesh to show us that He is with us. As believers, we should not function like orphans who have nothing. The day you received the life of Christ, you entered the God-class. The beautiful thing about the God-class is that it is beyond the terrestrial. In human circles, we have the upper class, middle class, and lower class. But when you come to spiritual things, in Christ, we all belong to the same class – the God-class. Know who you are and rule from there.
Jesus said, “…as the Father hath sent me, even so send I you.” (John 20:21 KJV); “And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them;” (John 17:22 KJV). In view of this, who told you that you are ordinary, simply because you have flesh and blood? Who lied to you? Beloved, you are not ordinary – God created you in His own image. What is the image of God? Spirit! We are spirit! We are not bodies! Sadly, we are so bodily occupied that we fail to realize that we are not our physical bodies, thereby limiting ourselves because we are consumed by our humanity.
Do you realize that man was created before he was formed? Genesis 2:7 describes how man was formed. God took the dust, molded the form, and breathed the man that He created into the form He had molded, who then became a living soul. Let me repeat this again; you are a Spirit and not your physical body. You are in the class of God. People who function this way do not see limitations. They see every limitation as an opportunity, understanding that they are more than equipped to surmount the limitations.
Beloved, you cannot fail. Failure is not in your character. It is not part of our nature. You are not different from Jesus. He did not fail, so you cannot fail.
