YOU ARE MADE TO REIGN
Comments
“And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.”
Revelation 5:10 (KJV)
Child of God, if there ever was a time in human history that we need to move beyond mere knowledge, that time is now. We need to fully understand and hinge our lives on God’s unending mercies. You will agree with me that all over the world and everywhere you turn today, the hearts of men are failing. Just as the bible prophesied, the drums of war and rumours of wars are significantly louder, and we are constantly inundated with such news across different media platforms. However, God has not left His church without a witness.
It is not God’s will for you to be cowered and overcome with fear and trepidation. Our text today, states clearly that we have been made kings and Priests unto our God and we shall reign on the earth. Therefore, irrespective of the current shakings and happenings around the globe, God has not only called you but has also made you to reign above them. That is God’s plan for you.
However, if you will indeed fulfil God’s purpose and reign as Kings and Priests on earth, then more than ever before, it is vitally important for you to truly understand the God of mercy and the mercy of God. This is because you can only access the full benefits of God’s grace when you understand and fully embrace His mercies. In other words, you can only access all that Christ made available to you through His death, burial and resurrection when you understand that His sacrifice on the Cross had nothing to do with you, but everything to do with Him and His compassionate love for you. This is the reason we are bold as believers to make demands on His name and decree a thing and see it come to pass. It is because our righteousness is of Him. It isn’t because of what you did or didn’t do. No! It is because of what Jesus did.
I declare that grace will make a way for you. You will not labour for trouble. You will not be stranded. God will bless you and cause you to have sufficiency in all things.
