YOU ARE IRREDEEMABLY BLESSED
“Every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm has already been lavished upon us as a love gift from our wonderful heavenly Father, the Father of our Lord Jesus—all because he sees us wrapped into Christ…!” Ephesians 1:3 (TPT)
Today, the world is agog with love messages, love songs, etc., but I am glad to tell you that true love is rooted in God and God has blessed you irredeemably. There is nothing that can take you away from the love of God. God has already blessed you, not that He will bless, or He may bless but He has ALREADY blessed you. What qualified you for this level of blessing is your acceptance of the finished work of Christ on your behalf.
The day you accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour, you walked into a life of eternal blessing. God sees you wrapped in Christ. Everything Christ had has been made yours so that you can walk in the liberty of the victory of the cross without any fear because perfect love casts out fear.
As the world celebrates love today, I challenge you to meditate on the love of God. A songwriter calls it excess love. The good news is too good to be true, but it is. When you catch a glimpse of this love, you will see your spouse and your children differently, you will see your friends and colleagues differently, and your life will be a blessing because you will spread the love of Christ effortlessly to those around you. Then, many will seek the God you serve because of the love that is radiating through you.
Take time today to celebrate those around you. If you are married, please celebrate your spouse. Don’t leave the children out of it, celebrate them, affirm them. Affirm your children at home otherwise, the world will affirm them and derail them. Find out their love language and connect with them. Make a conscious effort to learn all 5 languages and speak them appropriately to those around you. Today, be intentional about spreading the love of God to your world because love is the fulfilment of the law.
