YOU ARE COMPLETE IN HIM
Greetings in the name that is above every other name, Jesus Christ the Son of the living God and our soon coming King. Welcome to another exciting Sunday in the year 2018. I have no shadow of doubt in my heart that this is your year of Commanded Blessings. God has no abandoned projects, therefore there will be no abandoned issues in your life, because He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Christ. This morning, I want to share this scripture with you: Colossians 2:9–10 {KJV} “For in Him dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in Him, which is the head of all principality and power.’’
While it is true that the devil wants you put down, humiliated, frustrated and discouraged, I however have good news for you. When Jesus paid the price for you on the cross through His death, burial and resurrection, He changed your status. When He came to the earth He paid the supreme price so that your status of slavery, failure and disappointment, sin and bondage may be changed. That is the reason why the devil has no right to hold you bound or determine how far you can go in life. Why? You are complete in Him who is the head of all principality and power and that includes the devil. The word of God also declares that you are seated with Christ Jesus in heavenly places far above principalities and powers. Listen, for as long as Jesus Christ has paid the lord supreme price once and for all time, you can no longer be held bound. If nothing could hold Him bound then nothing can hold you bound also.
Beloved, you are complete in Him. Settle that in your heart. Jesus did not succumb to sickness and disease, so sickness and disease cannot hold you bound because you are in Him. There is no record that Jesus was ever a failure so you cannot fail. He was never disgraced or embarrassed. If Jesus is free, then you are free also. It is that simple! Enough of sneaking around; take courage and step out because God has put you in charge. It is a clear fact that Jesus was a threat to the devil in His days on earth. He did not lose sleep because of what the devil was doing, so why should you lose sleep?
In our nation today, things may really look messed up, the economy, the marketplace, the political arena, but do you realize that it is a set up for the believer to shine? Do you realize that the trials and temptations that the enemy brings your way are actually a set up by God to bring out the best in you? Can you imagine how Jesus would have reacted if He was here in the flesh? The scriptures in Romans 8:19 says ‘’For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God’’. In other words, God is saying to you my son, my daughter rather than join the world in crying over the problem, this is time to manifest and show the world the way. You can choose to make the difference today wherever God has located you because you have what it takes. Everything you need to succeed has been given to you, so go out there and conquer your world for the Kingdom. Go out there and make a formidable impact. You cannot fail.
I come to challenge you today to arise from your comfort zone. In this day and hour of competition, you cannot afford to just sit back and get contented harvesting cassava while others are digging for diamonds and platinum. You can no longer afford to play on the level of the mundane. This is the time to hear His voice so that you can leave what I call the shallow waters and begin to get into the deep. When you hear His voice you can do the impossible. When Jesus commanded Peter to cast in his net, the scriptures declare that he caught a great multitude of fishes from the same place where he had hitherto caught nothing. When you run with the word of God, you have a divine mandate to operate where others are backing out. God has spoken that in the year 2018, His Commanded Blessings will overtake you. Beloved, believe it and hang in there. You may not have seen anything yet, but continue to call it forth and pretty soon it shall come forth. You may not know how it will happen but your assignment is to believe what God has said. That is why I know that in this seventh month, you will spring a surprise.
As you go into this week, let me assure you that you have a divine mandate to succeed because you were made in God’s image and His gene is flowing through you. That means you are not a failure and you were not called for disappointment or frustration. I declare that creation will yield her increase for you. Your ground will continually yield her increase and every wasted year shall be restored back to you. For your shame, my God will give you double. I will hear your testimony. As a father in the house, I bless you.
