YOU ARE BLESSED

Dearly Beloved, I bring you greetings in the name that is above every other name, Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God. It’s such a joy to be alive today, this is indeed the day the Lord has made, and we shall rejoice and be glad in it. Thank God for another opportunity to be gathered in His presence with the saints of God. This morning, I’ve just come to remind you, that You Are Blessed. On December 31st during Exodus 2018, I made some prophetic declarations as led by the Spirit; thank God for the person who transcribed it. The first statement was “How can you lose in 2019?” And I’ve come your way today to let you know that because you are blessed, you can never lose.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.” Ephesians 1:3 (NKJV)

Beloved, you are not cursed, but blessed. God has blessed you with all spiritual blessings, I mean every blessing you can find in the scriptures, because of Jesus. Often times when we are faced with challenges and difficulties, we tend to think that there must be something wrong with us. We look for all sorts of explanations and justifications to give meaning to our challenging situations because we cannot understand how someone can be blessed and at the same time faced with difficulties and contradictions. However, our text makes it very clear, that for everyone who is in Christ, you are blessed. The curse is not for you, only the blessing is yours. Galatians 3 also lets us know that the blessing is ours, because of the price Jesus paid on our behalf. Therefore as a believer, you can read through Deuteronomy 28 and just claim the blessings, because that is the only thing that belongs to you.

The word blessed means empowered to succeed. In Genesis 26, we read the account of Isaac who sowed seeds during a period of famine and reaped a hundredfold because of the blessing that he carried. The blessings of the Lord was upon his life and so the ground and elements of creation had to produce for him. This is what the blessing does. When a person truly understands that he or she is blessed, there is absolutely nothing that can stop such a person, because he/she knows that the blessing is superior to the challenges and difficulties and so the situation must bow.

In the same Genesis 26, the people tried to see if they could stop Isaac blessings by attacking what they assumed was the source. They went and stopped his wells and filled it with earth, but of course, that didn’t stop Isaac, because the source of his blessings were not the wells, but God. Isaac dug again and found water. Despite the disputes that ensued over the wells he dug, at some point the people gave up and left him alone. They must have recognized that the source of Isaac’s blessing was beyond anything their minds could comprehend, hallelujah. Isaac came out on top because he was blessed by God.

This is the same order of blessing we received and even much more, because we are in Jesus, and so no matter what the enemy tries to do, we are Above Only. This is the mentality we must have throughout this year, no matter what comes against us, we are coming out on top because we are Above Only.

This week, the blessings of God will be made manifest in your life, you will walk in the reality of who you are in Christ Jesus. I declare that creation will answer to you. Every prophetic declaration made over your life for good will come to pass. You will never lose because You Are Blessed.

Maranatha!
