YOU ARE A GAME CHANGER

YOU ARE A GAME CHANGER

“And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?”

Daniel 6:20 (KJV)

Today, we see Daniel facing a similar situation that confronted his three Hebrew friends. His colleagues had gathered to plan against him having seen that no fault could be found with his work, they made the king pass a decree against prayer. They knew that Daniel treasured his relationship with God. Let me ask you this: what are you known for in your locality be it residential, office or school. What is your testimony?

Daniel refused to compromise. He threw open his window and prayed as usual and of course, it landed him in trouble. Beloved, don’t compromise your faith. God is able to fight your battle. If you must be a game changer, then you must be prepared to stand for Who you believe in. Of course the king knew it was a plot against Daniel and he lost his sleep. The next morning, the king ran to the mouth of the den and for the first time in history, he called out to Daniel and a voice was heard from the den of lions. Then the table turned, he commanded Daniel to be brought out while those who reported him were thrown into the den. Guess what, before they landed, the lions feasted on them. That shows that the lions did not hurt Daniel because God closed their mouth, not because they were not hungry.

Like it happened for Daniel, I prophesy to you that those who plot against you will fall for your sake. Again, the king’s decree was changed. Unrighteous decrees will change for your sake. My God will fight your battles and shut the mouth of the wicked. Evil will bow before you. The wicked shall bow at your gate. You will not be stranded or disappointed. You will pursue, overtake and recover all. You will testify.
