YE ARE THE BODY OF CHRIST
Comments
For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ”. 1Corinthians 12:12 (KJV)
Jesus is the head of the church and all things have been put under His feet. He has been made Head over all things on behalf of the church, which is His body. The church is the body of Christ. You are the body of Christ. You must dignify yourself. You must stop putting yourself down. Every believer is a part of the body of Christ, every one of us. You are part of His body. Ephesians 5:30 says: “For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.”(KJV). That’s what we are. 1 Corinthians 6:17 declares: “But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit”. (KJV) One Spirit! He didn’t say when you get to heaven. He didn’t say when Jesus comes. He said now you have become one spirit with Him because we are baptized into the body by the same spirit. Praise the Lord.
Hear Ephesians 4:4-6: “There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all”(KJV). Christ is the Head of the body. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things he might have the pre-eminence. What Paul was trying to teach the church is that the body cannot be separated from the head. You are the body of Christ and the body cannot be separated from the head.
Look into the mirror and tell yourself you are an integral part of the Body of Christ. Where the Head is, there the body will be. So, if Jesus, the Head is seated in the heavenlies, you the body is also seated with Him in the heavenlies. If Jesus is victorious, you are also victorious. If Jesus has divine health, you His body also have divine Health.
As you walk in this reality every day of your life, you will see every situation bow before you.
