WORD CELEBRATION 2022 – A GLORIOUS WRAP
Word Celebration 2022 with Theme; It is Done, which kick-started on Tuesday, the 28th of June, came to a glorious end on Sunday, the 3rd of July amidst so much pomp and pageantry. In case you missed it, here are the highlights!
Rev. Godfrey Odumaya of TREM Asaba led the opening prayer which was immediately followed by a beautiful video summary of the Conference highlights from the first day to the Radical Praise Concert and leading up to the grand finale.
The combined Mass choir was a vision to behold, as they were beautifully attired in a flood of white, with touches of Gold, as they ministered gloriously with upbeat and soul-lifting music.
Certificates for the completion of the Leadership Conclave were presented to participants from various states across the country who successfully went through the training powered by the Young People’s Ministry led by Rev. Tunde Bamgboye and his team.
The Word Celebration 2022 planning Committee was commended for a job well done and it was soon time to present Awards of participation and financial support, to the most active of branches. The branches that were awarded include but are not limited to

- Zone 7 Churches (Apapa)
- TREM Ejigbo
- TREM Dopemu
- TREM Victoria Island
- …and Zone 12 Churches
An award of humanity was also presented to the Resident Pastor of TREM Headquarters, Bishop Peace Okonkwo.
The atmosphere was charged by prayers in the Holy Ghost followed by another melodious music ministration by the Evangel Voices, and then Worship that ushered in our Presiding Bishop, Dr. Mike Okonkwo for the Word and Father’s blessing including a special holy communion.
As the conference came to a close, the Presiding Bishop, Dr. Mike Okonkwo re-emphasised the need for everyone to be Security-conscious and vigilant in these days and times we live in.
Word Celebration 2022 was a life-transforming experience indeed and we look forward to seeing you at the next conference!
