WHAT TO DO IN TIMES OF CRISIS
“And when they began to sing and to praise, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir, which were come against Judah; and they were smitten.” 2 Chronicles 20:22 (KJV)
When Jehoshaphat received the answer that came from the Spirit, he received the secret to their victory. Then Jehoshaphat gathered everyone in Judah and they decided to worship God.
The time of adversity is the time to worship God. It is the time for everyone to worship God. It is not the time to go on vacation. It is not the time to go to play golf. It is not the time for partying. It is the time to hear from God. It is the time to study the scriptures to find out what your inheritance is in the Lord. It is time for family members to come together in prayers. It is time to celebrate God in families. It is time to ensure that your entire life is soaked in God.
They began to worship, and they were told that this is the time to believe. Not just to believe God but also to believe his prophets. Your prosperity is in believing his prophets. Do you have a prophet over your life? Do you speak into your own life? What are the things that come from your lips? What are the things that you say?
Furthermore, Jehoshaphat gathered the musicians for praise. Where in the world have you seen music defeating enemies in warfare? Praise is a spiritual weapon. God inhabits the praises of His people. He dwells in it. When praises go up, blessings come down. As they began to praise, God began to dismantle the plans and designs of the enemy. When was the last time you spent quality time praising God? As they began to praise and worship the Lord, the scripture declares that God stepped into the battle.
God will step into your battle, no matter what it is; be it sickness, disease, or marital problem. No matter what it is, God is stepping in. You will not die prematurely. The dream of the wicked will not prosper in your life. Every weapon formed against you will never prosper. The Lord will step into the affairs of your life and dismantle the power of hell, in Jesus’ name!
