What Are You Going To Do Differently?

What Are You Going To Do Differently?

Beloved, I’ve come to challenge you and to move you out of that place of complacency. This year must be filled with outstanding testimonies for you, this year must answer to you. I’m looking forward to hearing about your great exploits in the news media. In order for this to happen, child of God, you must arise. Albert Einstein said and I quote that “insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results.” This is the last Sunday in the month of February; March is next week, meaning first quarter of 2018 is coming to an end, what have you done differently? How have you stepped out of your comfort zone to ensure that your goals become a reality? How have you approached that difficult issue with doggedness, saying to yourself ‘there must be a way, I must find a way to get it done.’

“As Goliath moved closer to attack, David quickly ran out to meet him.” (1 Samuel 17:48 NLT)

We are all very familiar with the story of David and Goliath, how David brought down the giant that was terrorizing the entire city. Our text points out something very key, it says David ran towards Goliath. Imagine an enormous and terrifying giant approaching you, the normal reaction is to take off in whatever direction you can, and hide yourself, but not David, “…he quickly ran out to meet him.” That action alone aided David’s victory, because I can bet you Goliath was not expecting it. And so the shock alone from this little guy running quickly towards him must have destabilized him, and before he knew it, the stone sunk into his skull, and he was on the ground. Why? Because one person understood who he was in Christ, and decided to act differently. When you truly understand who you are, you won’t act and respond to situations like everyone else, you will be different.

In Luke 19, we read about a man named Zacchaeus. Jesus came into Jericho, and Zacchaeus was determined to see him. The bible is careful to tell us that Zacchaeus was a short man, and so with the crowd following Jesus, there was no way he could see Jesus. However, Zacchaeus was determined to see Jesus, and nothing was going to get in the way of this determination. Verse 4 (NKJV) tells us “So he ran ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see Him, for He was going to pass that way.” What followed this action was incredible, he did not only see Jesus, Jesus also spotted him out from the entire crowd, and decided to dine in his house. Zacchaeus received way more than he originally bargained for, because he made up his mind to do something unconventional. I’m sure he was not the only short man there, but he was the short man that made it into the scriptures, because he decided to be different.

Child of God what are you going to do differently this year? How are you going to reposition yourself to enjoy all that God has in store for you? Are you going to sign up for that course to enhance your skill set? Are you going to improve the quality and packaging of that product to make it irresistible in the market place? Are you going back to school to get that degree? This is our year of Commanded Blessings, and its irreversible, but you must not do the same things you did last year, if not, you will remain at the same position.

This year, no TREMite will go without; we are taking our place in the banking sector, educational sector, political sector, finance sector, entertainment, wherever we are located, we will shine.  I will hear your testimonies. I bless you in Jesus’ name, Amen.

I’m looking forward to my time out with the men on Saturday March 3, 2018. Men, endeavor to be here, because there is a word for you, and don’t come alone, invite a male colleague from the office, a male neighbor, a friend; bring someone along. The time is 9a.m. prompt. See you there.

Maranatha!
