WELCOME TO THE YEAR OF NEW THINGS
“Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.” Isaiah 43:19 (KJV)
Happy New Year! Here is wishing you a year of NEW THINGS. The things that eluded you in the past will become easily to you in Jesus’ name. God has given us a word for the year. If you look at all the past themes, you will agree with me that they have all been apt and this year’s theme is no exception.
When God said, it is our year of New Things, He was not playing with words. God is ready and He is fully equipped to do New Things in your life, all you have to do is to yield to Him. This year, starting from today, be sensitive to the Spirit of God. You may not understand the instructions but I implore you to obey. Follow God fully this year. Don’t play games with your relationship with God. He has spoken and He will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. In other words, the impossible will become possible for you.
When the Lord said NEW things, He did not imply refurbished or manageable things. God will do things you have never experienced before this year. He is set to blow your mind, your part is simply to believe and follow fully and He will bring it to pass, for He is not a man to lie nor the Son of Man to repent. His thoughts towards you are thoughts of good and not evil and He desires to give you that expected end. The only thing I advise you to do today is be consistent. Don’t start in high spirits today only to give up tomorrow. Maintain the tempo, stay focused on the word that He has given you. Write and paste it on your mirror, make it your screen saver, your desktop wall paper, keep it in view. Don’t lose sight of the word from God. It is God’s word specifically to you. Dare to believe it and watch New Things unfold in your life.
