WE WALK BY THE WORD; NOT BY SIGHT

WE WALK BY THE WORD; NOT BY SIGHT

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7 (KJV)

According to the scriptures: “The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;” Psalm 19:7-8 (NKJV). Therefore, it is in your best interest to learn to believe this Word.

The believer is called to live by faith. To live by faith is to live by the Word. Don’t let social media speak to you! Don’t let the billboards speak to you! The Word of God has the final authority! That will tame your mind, so your life will go on the right course.

The Word of God will keep you sane. The Word of God will keep you alert. If you read it and you find your reality in the Word, it will make you not lose your mind. God’s Word will cause you to rejoice because it reveals to you what the real answer is. The Word shows you that all hope is not lost.

As a child of God, you must ensure that your mind is in alignment with the Word. Never allow the world to mould your thought pattern. “For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.” Romans 8:6 (NKJV). To think the way the world thinks is death! If you allow the world to mould your thought pattern, it will produce death. And it is not just physical death. It means that you will produce death in every area of your life. That is what will happen when you allow what you see to govern how you behave.

The carnal mind is the mind that is governed by sight. But the mind of the Spiritually minded believer is governed by the Word of God.
