UNDERSTAND YOUR REALITY IN CHRIST

UNDERSTAND YOUR REALITY IN CHRIST

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:” Ephesians 1:3 (KJV)

Our God is a good God. And He wants all His children blessed. God wants His children to take advantage of what He has done on their behalf through the perfect sacrifice of Christ. Therefore, whether you are old or new in the faith, you must function from the revelation that you are highly favoured, deeply loved, and extravagantly blessed.

That’s your reality!

It is an error for a child of God to be praying and begging God. What are you begging Him for? It is like your child whose needs you have fully provided for, yet every moment, the child is begging you. It is an error!

Your attitude ought to be that of thanksgiving, not beggarly. When you pray, take hold of God’s promise for you, and thank Him for it. Always remember that we are not fighting the devil, “having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that were against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.” (Colossians 2:14-15 NKJV)

The devil is already defeated in every area of our lives. Our part, as believers, is to enforce the victory that Christ has purchased for us through His death, burial, and resurrection. Throw away every victim mentality. In Christ, you are standing on the platform of victory. There is nothing the enemy throws at you that can defeat you. In all things, you are more than a conqueror through Christ who loves you.

“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?”(I John 5:4-5 NKJV)

In Christ, you have a divine advantage. This is your reality!
