TURN IT OVER TO JESUS

TURN IT OVER TO JESUS

“From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, When my heart is overwhelmed: Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” Psalm 61:2 (KJV)

There is no situation that you are going through that God cannot resolve. Jesus is the answer to any issue that can ever confront you. When Christ came, He paid the price for everything that the enemy can ever bring against you. You have no reason to be overwhelmed and feel defeated, no matter how difficult the situation is. Nothing works against a believer. Every situation will ultimately turn out for your good.

According to the scriptures: “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.” (2 Corinthians 2:14 KJV) It is this assurance of victory that sets you apart as a believer. We have victory over depression, stress, and every complication that comes against us. All you need to do is to turn it over to Jesus.

When the Psalmist was overwhelmed by the challenges around him, what he did was cry unto God. God answers prayers. The Psalmist did not turn to his problem, but to God. He was turning away from his problem and walking away from it. As long as you are turning to God, you can’t be looking at your problem at the same time.

God was the solution and the answer to his problem and that was what he focused on. We should learn to take our eyes off our problems and focus on God. He said, when my heart is overwhelmed, lead me to the rock that is higher than I. I don’t have to stay in the valley. I don’t have to stay in depression, affliction, complications, failure, and in defeat. I need the rock! I need to stand on something solid. I refuse to stand on shaky ground. I choose to stand on something that can carry me. Every other thing is sinking! But the rock is a shelter for me and a strong tower from my enemies.
