THERE IS NO CONDEMNATION
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” Romans 8:1 (KJV)
When we fully understand the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, no one will cajole, beg, appeal, or plead with you to share the good news. Jesus’ death and resurrection brought us to the place of right standing with God. Our past, present, and future sins are fully paid for. We can now approach the throne of God as if we had never sinned before. Every time the Father looks at us, He sees us in Christ. He sees us spotless. He sees us as deserving of His love, grace, and mercy. He sees us in right standing with Him. That is the benefit of the redemption program.
Child of God, walk in the full realisation of this truth. Never let the devil hold you bound by something you did wrong yesterday. Does that empower you to live in sin? Absolutely not. As I have said repeatedly, Grace is not a license to sin but an empowerment to live above sin. Grace enables you to live above sin and sin consciousness.
Many believers are reluctant to share their faith because they do not know what they carry. In this season, as we celebrate the resurrection, can you take time to meditate on the events of Good Friday to Resurrection Sunday? Can you read the account in different translations that you can understand? Do not just stick to the King James Version – thank God for technology; even on your phone, you can have many translations. Read the account repeatedly, meditate on it, and take it all in. Come to the full realisation of what this season stands for, and you will be ready to share your faith because of the truth revealed to you. Then go out there and share your faith. Share your personal story. Tell of the goodness of God in your life. If you are a new believer, then simply invite someone to church. Tell them to come and see, like the woman of Samaria at the well in John chapter 4. Consciously tell those around you about this good news that is too good to be true. Let your light shine in your world.
