THERE IS A CROWN OF FAVOUR UPON YOU

THERE IS A CROWN OF FAVOUR UPON YOU

“For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favor wilt thou compass him as with a shield.” Psalms 5:12 (KJV)

The word ‘compass’ means that you will be crowned with favor. Anywhere you go, you have a crown of favour upon you. Therefore, you should always expect favour to operate on your behalf. Expect favor to open doors when doors are shut. Expect favour to cause you to prosper when others are not prospering. You will be accepted where others are not accepted because you have been crowned with favor.

If you don’t understand it, you will never walk in it. If you don’t understand that favor is your heritage, you will struggle to walk in it. Favour is your birthright as a child of God. When you received Christ, you entered into a life of favor. But you can’t walk in it until you understand that there is a crown of favor upon you.

Joseph was a man crowned with favor. Even as a slave the scripture says he prospered. “And the LORD was with Joseph, and he was a prosperous man, and he was in the house of his master the Egyptian. And his master saw that the LORD was with him and that the LORD made all that he did to prosper in his hand” Genesis 39:2-3. This is the kind of result that you should expect in your life. Expect God to cause all that you do to prosper in your hand. Why? You are crowned with favor. Wheresoever Joseph turned, he enjoyed favor upon favor. When he had his first son, he called him Manasseh. “And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh: For God, said he, hath made me forget all my toil, and all my father’s house.” (Genesis 41:51 KJV).

Child of God, one touch of favor is all you need, for a turnaround, in your life. One-touch of favor will cause you to forget all the toils, all the labor, all the struggles, all the pains, and all the agonies you have suffered in the past. May the Lord give you a Manasseh this very moment. Let every Goliath in your life fall for your sake.
