THERE ARE REWARDS FOR YOUR GOOD WORKS

THERE ARE REWARDS FOR YOUR GOOD WORKS

‘’For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.’’

2 Corinthians 5:10 KJV

God is a rewarder. He knows how to reward you for every good work. You must allow this truth to motivate you to serve faithfully in the Lord’s vineyard. Each time you have opportunity to serve or render help, always remember that the God we serve is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

The judgment seat of Christ is not the same as the great white throne judgment. The judgment seat of Christ is for the distribution of rewards and benefits for the things you did. All of us who have received Christ as Lord and Saviour will be in heaven, but not all of us will be in the same category. All of us are going to be the same before God, but we are not going to receive the same benefits.

Some believers will still continue to serve other people even in heaven. Those you despised here on earth, who are committed to the Kingdom, you are still going to be serving them. The scripture says we shall all appear before God to give account. You will give account of what you did after you got saved. What did you do? Were you just comfortable with your salvation?

Revelation 14:13 says: “And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them’’ (KJV).

Their Lamborghini, houses, certificates, bank accounts, positions and all the awards didn’t follow them; it was only the works which they did for the kingdom that followed them into eternity. How much you expanded the kingdom and how much value you added to others are the things that will count at the judgment seat of Christ.
