THE POWER OF MEDITATION
“But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.”
Psalm 1:2 (KJV)
Start thinking today on what God has said. Let it consume your entire thoughts. Mumble it to yourself! Talk it to yourself until you become one with Him. What you think concerning yourself will determine how far you would go.
Meditation is reasoning with God in His Word, so as to know the right step to take. Many people read about what God has said, but they do not know what to do. They don’t know what the right steps to take are. And the Bible says in Proverbs 24:26 “Every man shall kiss his lips that giveth a right answer” (KJV). When you have the right answer, you will become marketable and you will be the rave of the moment. Anywhere you go, people will be attracted to you because there are people faced with problems. There are problems in this life begging for people to solve them. If you cannot solve problems, do not expect people to be attracted to you. And if there were people who should solve problems in this life, it should be the Christians.
The Bible says believers are the light of the world and the salt of the earth. In other words, we are pacesetters. However, we pray but we don’t think. It is not enough to pray. When you have finished praying, sit down and think. Think through what you have prayed! Think to know how! How am I going to handle this thing? And God, in that moment of meditation, will drop ideas concerning what to do.
Meditation will connect you to spiritual direction to produce the supernatural manifestation. You know it is abnormal for a Christian to grope in darkness. You should know what to do! God wants you to know what to do. If you don’t know what to do in a situation, that means, probably, you are not meditating.
