THE POWER OF FOCUS AND CONTINUITY

THE POWER OF FOCUS AND CONTINUITY

“And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers. And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles. And all that believed were together, and had all things common.” Acts 2:42-44 (KJV)

Focus is so key and so important. These people continued steadfastly with singleness of heart. And they produced uncommon results. They had one purpose! They were focused! And there was no division. All the efforts were concentrated in one direction. “And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.” Acts 2:46-47 (KJV)

Focus and continuity produced the result! The Lord added because the people were aligned. Everyone was facing the same direction. There was a focus, so the anointing, power, and grace were concentrated in one direction. Consequently, they were able to break obstacles and impediments. Every hindrance and whatever stood in the way had to move because the power and anointing faced one direction. As long as the people continued steadfastly, they experienced an increase.

If you desire to remain at the cutting edge, you must stay focused and continue steadfastly in what you have been taught, fellowship, and prayers. It is not about what you do occasionally but about what you do consistently. It is not about a New Year resolution but about a commitment. As you do, your story will not end in shame! Your story will not end in disgrace. And the enemy will not embarrass you. This Year, refuse every form of distraction. Stay focused and be assured that I will hear your testimony in Jesus’ name.
