THE POWER OF DECLARING YOUR EXPECTATIONS

THE POWER OF DECLARING YOUR EXPECTATIONS

“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.” Genesis  1:3 (KJV)

In the book of Genesis chapter one, the chaos did not stop God from boldly declaring His expectations and what He declared manifested. The scripture tells us that the earth was without form and void, and there was darkness everywhere. God did not bother giving credence to the darkness. He didn’t for once start to cry and complain about the chaotic situation. He just commanded the light to shine and light came forth.

Child of God, during that challenge, open up your mouth and declare your expectations. It does you no good to parrot or rehearse your challenges. To see the transformation, speak to that problem. Mark 11:23 says: “For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, ‘Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea,’ and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith” (KJV).

Beloved, resist the urge to speak contrary to your expectations. I know you’re hurting. I know the battle is raging and the billows are tossing high. But you must resist the urge to declare anything other than your expectations in line with the Word of God. The bible says you shall have whatsoever you say. Which means your words determine what manifests in your life. Therefore speak your expectations. Speak what God’s Word says concerning you. All through the scriptures, you will never catch Jesus speaking anything contrary to His expectations. He never spent His time analyzing the problems He was faced with. Rather, He went to the tomb of Lazarus and commanded him to come forth and he did.

Don’t give up and don’t give in. Grace will speak for you. It is a season of change for you. Your desires shall manifest. Every oppression over your life is destroyed. You are above only in all areas of your life. The Lord shall overrule for you.
