THE GRACE OF GOD PRODUCES GODLY FRUITS
Comments
“Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.” Titus 2:14 (KJV)
The book of Galatians 5:1 tells us to stand fast in the liberty wherewith Christ has set us free. But most people do not understand the purpose of this liberty? So, they say: “Well, you know now that God so loves me, and He is not going to send me to hell. Now that I have eternal life, and now that His grace is sufficient for me, I can just go insane and live in sin. After all His grace is irreversible and would not stop loving me. I can live anyhow I want! And I can behave the way I want. I can do anything. I can walk in unforgiveness. It doesn’t matter, God still loves me. The grace of God has covered me. I can do what I want! Don’t tell me. Don’t judge me! Judge not the grace of God”. If you are in the company of those who think and speak like this, you are deceived.
According to the book of Titus 2:11: “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men”(KJV). But are all men saved? No! Why are all men not saved? Because all men have not accepted the grace of God that brings salvation, Jesus that brings salvation has come to them but they refused to receive him. However, when you have received the grace of God, it teaches you how to live. Let’s look at the scriptures.
“Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world” (Titus 2:12 KJV)
Grace has to affect your lifestyle! If you have truly received grace, He will change you from inside out. That is what is called transformation. Grace will change your life. Grace will cause you to produce good fruits. Orange seeds will produce orange trees and fruits. The banana will produce banana fruits. Apple will produce apple fruits. God in you will produce Godly fruits.
When you have truly received grace, it will be a habit and lifestyle to live your life for him whether anyone is watching you or not.
