THE GOD WE SERVE IS A GOOD GOD

THE GOD WE SERVE IS A GOOD GOD

“how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” Acts 10:38 (KJV)

The coming of Jesus was to save mankind from his sin and sorrow. The angel announced that peace has finally come to the earth. The coming of Jesus brought to an end the war that the devil created which caused misunderstanding between man and God. And it is goodwill toward all men, for everyone who believes.

When Jesus arrived, He was anointed by the Holy Ghost, with power, and He went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed of the devil. No man has ever been to heaven except Him who came down. He is the only one that can show us the way back to heaven. The Bible tells us that he went about doing good. He healed the sick. He is the express image of God. The brightness of His glory. He was healing the sick, raising the dead, and telling us how good our God is.

The God that we serve is good. He fed the hungry. He cleansed the leper. He forgave sinners. He broke the power of death. Jesus the son of God, our Savior went about doing good to everyone that believes. He showed us the loving-kindness of God to mankind. And yet the devil was not tired.

The devil still believed that he has the final word. Beloved, the devil does not have the final word. I don’t care what he is saying about you. That is not the final word. You may have sickness in your body, it is not the final word. finances may be the challenge but that is not the final word. Your academic life, your marital life, or any other area of your life may be having a challenge but that is not the final word. The God that you and I serve will intervene on your behalf. He will fight your battles. He will silence the voice of the enemy. He will render ineffective the forces of hell. You will testify of the goodness of God.

Whatever you are going through will pass. That challenge will not see your end. You will see the end of that challenge because Jesus Christ is alive.
