THE GAME CHANGER

Dearly Beloved, I bring you greetings in the name that is above every other name, Jesus Christ the Son of the living God and our soon coming King. I thank God for His grace and mercies towards us. Thank God for seeing us through the past week and for grace for this new week. This morning, I want to share with us on what I call The Game Changer.

In the book of John from chapter 13, during the feast of the Passover, Jesus was engaged in a discussion with His disciples about His journey to the cross, and all that will transpire as He heads to the cross. In John 16:7, He says something very profound, He tells them that it is to their advantage that He goes away, because if He doesn’t go, then the Helper would not be able to come. But when He leaves, then He can send the Helper. Jesus, I mean all powerful Jesus, said it is to the advantage of His disciples that He leaves, because then the Holy Spirit can take over. This makes the importance of the Holy Spirit very clear to us. The Holy Spirit is The Game Changer, and He came into our lives the moment we made Jesus the Lord of our lives, hallelujah.

“For we did not receive the spirit of this world system but the Spirit of God, so that we might come to understand and experience all that grace has lavished upon us.” 1 Corinthians 2:12 (TPT)

Our text above tells us very clearly that it is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit of God that we received. The assignment of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer is to help the believer, teach, guide and much more. John 14:26 (ERV) says “But the Helper will teach you everything and cause you to remember all that I told you. This Helper is the Holy Spirit that the Father will send in my name.” John 16:13 (ERV) says “But when the Spirit of truth comes, he will lead you into all truth. He will not speak his own words. He will speak only what he hears and will tell you what will happen in the future.”

In order for us to truly enjoy the work of The Game Changer in our lives, we must engage Him by praying in tongues/language of the Spirit. We must make praying in tongues a part of our daily lives. The scripture says He will guide us into ALL truth, which means there is absolutely nothing we cannot engage the Holy Spirit about, be it about family, career, business, marriage, children, the Holy Spirit is there to help you. He will also tell you about the future, so you can stay ahead of the curve. Make a habit of engaging the Holy Spirit today, and He will transform your life.

I declare that this week, The Game Changer will manifest Himself in all of your endeavors. You will be above only in Jesus’ name, Amen.
