THE BELIEVER HAS ETERNAL LIFE.

THE BELIEVER HAS ETERNAL LIFE.

“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” 1John 5:13 (KJV)
When Jesus gave his life to us, He gave us eternal life.  Therefore, when you receive Christ into your life, you receive eternal life. Eternal life is Christ.
According to the Word of God: “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God”(John 3:16-18 KJV)
Let’s also consider the John 17:2-3: “As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent”(KJV)
All these scriptures show that the believer has eternal life living inside him. You have Christ, you have eternal life. Eternal life is God’s kind of life. The Zoe kind of life!  God’s own kind of life!  That is what you have when you receive Christ into your life. “He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life” (1John 5:12 KJV) So if you have Christ, you have that life. And that places the onus on God who gave you that life to preserve His life. It places the responsibility on Him to preserve the life that He gave to you. But if you don’t understand that you have it, the devil will dance around you and walk all over you because you are ignorant of God’s protection over you, in the midst of the challenges of life.
