THE BATTLE IS WON

“When Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And He bowed His head and [voluntarily] gave up His spirit.” John 19:30 (AMP)

Another implication of the powerful statement “It is finished” that Jesus made on the cross is in the area of battles. It means that the battle is won. Here, the original Greek word tetelestai means there is no more fight, the battle is won. You can now walk in and begin to take the spoils of victory.  What Jesus did for us is completely complete and perfectly perfect. When you understand this, nothing and nobody would be able to stand against you. If God be for you who is it that can be against you?

According to the book of Proverbs11:9: “…But through knowledge shall the just be delivered.” When you have revelation, there is nothing that can be a threat to your life. When you have revelation, you will walk in boldness, and you will walk in authority. As a matter of fact, you will be the one looking out for the devil. Where are you, Satan? Why? Because you have an understanding that the victory is already yours. The Bible declares in the book of Hosea 4:6: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” It is the lack of knowledge that destroys God’s people not that the devil is strong. No! He is already a defeated foe. Jesus spoiled principalities and powers and made a show of them openly. He made a public display of His victory over the enemy. The battle is won and ours is to go in and begin to take the spoils.

You have been set free! Healing is yours! Deliverance is yours! The breakthrough is yours! Open doors are yours. No more fear! No more disappointment! No more frustration! And no more intimidation! You will not die but live to declare the works of God. This is your time of recovery. This is your time of restoration. Go and possess your possession. The battle is already won.
