THE BATTLE IS ALL ABOUT THE WORD

THE BATTLE IS ALL ABOUT THE WORD

“And the night following the Lord stood by him, and said, Be of good cheer, Paul: for as thou hast testified of me in Jerusalem, so must thou bear witness also at Rome.” Acts 23:11 (KJV)

The Psalmist says: “I have seen an end of all perfection: But thy commandment is exceeding broad.” (Psalm 119:96 KJV) This means that no matter how good a man is, there is always an end to what he can achieve. So, it would be an error to build your faith on the wisdom of men. It will fail! If there is any time that you need to hold on to God, it is now. You will be surprised at the number of people who are still building their faith in what they can see, hear, touch, taste, and feel. Until I see it, I will not believe it! Beloved, faith is the access and medium with which we tap into God’s resources. That is why God gave you faith the day you were born again or saved.

In the book of Acts 27:9-14, the scriptures narrated the story of Paul on his way to Rome. God had spoken and given assurances that Paul was going to be in Rome and he was not going to be stopped halfway. Several efforts were made to stop Paul and even to kill him, but they all failed. Some people had taken an oath that they will not eat or drink or break their fast until they kill Paul. But by divine manipulation, a young boy heard that they were plotting against Paul and went to reveal this plot to the officials who now moved Paul ahead of time in other to prevent those people from killing him.

It has already gone forth that Paul will defend himself in Rome and those words would not fall to the ground. The challenges came because the devil will always fight every word of God. The battle is all about the word. All the persecutions, trials, temptations, and difficulties came for the word’s sake. The more revelations you receive, the more attacks you will be under.
