THANKFULNESS
Good morning her excellency/his royal highness, kings and priests of the Most High God. I am so excited to welcome you to our annual thanksgiving for the year 2018 themed “thankfulness”. Indeed we have so much to be thankful for, if our bodies were full of tongues, it still wouldn’t be enough to thank God for His goodness and mercies towards us. This year came with diverse challenges and yet, His mercies kept us, our God is indeed a good God. If the enemy had his way, we wouldn’t be alive today, but the mercies of God prevailed, thank You Jesus. All we have come to say today is Thank You Lord.
Psalms 92:1(KJV) “It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto thy name, O Most High:”
Psalms 9:1 (NIV) “I will give thanks to you, LORD, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.”
Psalms 95:2-3 (NIV) “Let us come before him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. For the LORD is the great God, the great King above all gods.”
Psalms 106:1 (KJV) “Praise ye the Lord. O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.”
1 Chronicles 16:34 (KJV) “O give thanks unto the Lord; for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever.”
The scriptures are filled with verses of thanksgiving and praise to God because He is worthy of it all. The songwriter stated ‘my hallelujah belongs to God because He deserves it’. We will never stop giving Him praise and adoration for who He is. We understand that “It is of the Lord’s merices that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.” Lamentations 3:22-23 (KJV), and therefore songs of thanksgiving will forever remain on our lips.
Father we worship You, we thank You, we praise Your holy name because You are a faithful God. All we want to say today, and will never stop saying is Thank You Lord.
Have a great week and be blessed.
Maranatha!
