TALK TO GOD IN YOUR MESS

TALK TO GOD IN YOUR MESS

“Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish’s belly.” Jonah 2:1 (KJV)

A big fish swallowed a man by the name of Jonah, and he went deep into the middle of the sea. And Jonah could not swim. According to the scriptures, Jonah lifted his eyes unto God in the mess. That means you can still talk to God in your mess. Who told you that you cannot talk to God because you are in a mess? Who told you that God would abandon you in the mess? He does not forsake His own. He is always with us. He promised never to forsake us nor leave us. He does not jump ship. He is always there. Jehovah Shammah is His name. He is a present help in time of need. In your needs, He is already there!

Jonah lifted his eyes in the mess and prayed; he refused to look at what the devil was doing. According to the scriptures: “They that observe lying vanities forsake their own mercy” (Jonah 2:8 KJV). When you begin to observe what the devil is doing around you, you have forsaken the mercy of God that is already released on your behalf. So, stop observing the wind! Stop observing the challenges, the struggles, the pains, the aches, and all that the enemy is showing you in these last days. As good as it is, social media has made so many things fearful. Fear is being brandished to every person.

Remember, Jonah did not know how to swim, and the bible told us in the book of Jonah 2:10: “And the LORD spake unto the fish, and it vomited out Jonah upon dry land.”(KJV). God knew that Jonah could not swim, and He helped him by instructing the fish to vomit on the shore.

God is coming to help you. You are coming out of whatever trap the enemy has set for you. “Whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith” (1 John 5:4 KJV). You are a world overcomer! You win always!
