STOP JUDGING OTHERS

“Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.” Luke 7:39

Just like some of us do, when we see people who are going bananas for God or going all out, we judge them in our heart, “Your own is too much! You are showing off!” The question is, if you don’t do it for Jesus, who will you do it for? If you don’t go all out for Jesus, who should you give it to?
We as believers must stop this “policeman’s work” we do in church. You are not a policeman leave it for the Holy Spirit. The same Holy Spirit who saw your mess and changed you would change that person. You knew how you were when you first came and you remember the mess and excess baggage you came to Jesus with. But you sat down under the washing of the water of the Word and the Word continued to wash you until you were clean. Then how dare you judge another person? Leave them alone!
Don’t do the work of the Holy Spirit. If anything; you’re called to help them. Bring them in and make them know that despite the way they look, that they will be better tomorrow. Do not say go and clean yourself first, you’re not good enough. No! That’s why many people out there on our streets don’t want to come to church, because of hypocrites who are there to point at other people’s sin. Some people say to others “I’m not like you; I’m better than you”. Who told you to compare yourself with others? That is arrogance! If you want to compare yourself, then compare yourself with Jesus. It will humble you. You’ll fall on your knees because His holiness will intimidate you. But thank God for His love. In spite of who you are, He says come the way you are. Hallelujah!
