STAY IN THE WORD
Comments
“Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord. According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.” 2 Peter 1:2-3(KJV)
Beloved, you can only escape the corruption in the world through the knowledge of the Word of God. This world is headed for destruction, but you can escape when you dwell on the Word of God. Towards the end of His earthly ministry, Jesus prayed: Father, sanctify them with your word, for your word is truth. (John 17:17).
2 Peter 1:5-8 says, “And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, and to virtue knowledge”. And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; and to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (KJV)
You must make conscious efforts about knowledge. You must have knowledge of God’s Word and your environment. When you do these things, you will not be barren nor unfruitful. As you pursue the knowledge of the Word of God, take note of the following:
Take a quality decision that God’s word is true, and it is the final authority in all affairs of life. It doesn’t pay to say you are applying the Word in one case and applying tradition in another case. No! God’s word is final authority in all affairs of life.
Decide that you will always act in faith no matter the challenge you are facing. You will not act in fear, doubt or unbelief.
Decide that no matter the challenge you are facing, any time you open your mouth to talk about that issue, you must talk nothing but faith. Release your faith by speaking the Word! That is how not to lose faith until the manifestation. Stay in the Word. It is the arena of victory
