STAND IN THE ARENA OF GRACE

STAND IN THE ARENA OF GRACE

“By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” (Romans 5:2 KJV)

If righteousness comes by the law, then Christ died in vain. If we became right by the virtue of the Ten Commandments and the laws that were given, then Jesus died in vain. You are not born again because you kept any law; you are born again because you accepted Jesus who died for you into your life. He paid the price for your sins! You have nothing to do with it at all. It is the gift of God; all you did is to receive it.

God brought us into His Kingdom through the death, burial and resurrection of His Son and then decided to allow us function according to the New Covenant. What covenant? The covenant of GRACE. When you function under law, what you are saying in effect is when you do good, you get good, when you do bad, you get bad. When you obey God, God blesses. When you disobey him, you receive curses. That is what happens when you live your life by the law.

However, under grace, it is unmerited, it is unearned and it is undeserved. It has nothing to do with you. So He looked at mankind and saw the entire lifespan of mankind and just right in a moment, He dealt with the sin of mankind once and for all. Christ paid the entire price you ought to pay. Every life span of sin you will ever commit has been dealt with in Christ once and for all.

I don’t know who is reading this right now. Your life may have being messed up. But as long as you are still breathing, it is not over with you. You have a colourful future. Your future is so bright that the devil is afraid of you. That is why the devil has attacked and battered you. You may have been embarrassed and ridiculed. But it is not over yet. You are going to bounce back. Grace will make a huge difference in your life in Jesus’ name.
